Training & Induction – with you every step of the way
From the first day you join us, you’ll enjoy all the training you need to do a great job. It all starts with a full induction into the business, so you find out what the different teams do and how we all work together to deliver a great service to our customers.
During your initial training, we’ll take all the time it needs to make sure you’re 100% comfortable with every aspect of your new role. There’s no rushing through anything. We take you through every step at a pace that you're happy with.
Induction Training
Our induction programmes are tailored to meet the needs of all our new starters. Qualified and experienced trainers will guide you through the basics of insurance, building up to how to sell insurance policies.
We provide a two week training programme for all our sales advisorsand our customer service advisors training programme is 4 weeks.
Our in-house Training and HR teams work with employees and managers to ensure on-going job training needs and future career planning development needs are catered for.
Ongoing Training
Your induction programme is just the beginning of your training and development with Hastings Direct. We provide a range of courses with qualifications ranging from NVQ’s to Insurance examinations via the CII.
As you progress within the company, you can also study for management qualifications through our accredited centre for the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). All of these are run in-house with Hastings Direct subsidising the costs.
